Agreement to these terms
By accessing the website, downloading an application, pairing a device, or otherwise using Advertpreneur Smart Unlock, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the product. Additional platform or app-store terms may also apply.
What Smart Unlock does
Smart Unlock is a trusted-device control layer that helps a supported Android phone communicate with a configured Windows PC and use the functions exposed by the applications. It does not bypass Windows security, recover Windows passwords, guarantee remote access, or replace the Windows account and sign-in methods maintained by the user.
Ownership and authorization
You may use Smart Unlock only on a phone and computer you own or are expressly authorized to control. You are responsible for confirming that installation and use comply with workplace, client, household, network, and local legal requirements.
Your responsibilities
- Protect your phone, Windows account, passwords, PINs, recovery methods, and pairing information.
- Keep the operating systems and Smart Unlock applications reasonably current.
- Review paired computers and remove access that is no longer appropriate.
- Maintain an alternative Windows sign-in method.
- Use accurate information when requesting technical support.
- Back up important data and configure device security appropriate to your circumstances.
Do not rely on it as the only method for reaching critical files, infrastructure, medical systems, safety systems, or time-sensitive business operations.
Acceptable use
You must not use Smart Unlock to access a computer without permission, surveil another person, interfere with a device or network, evade lawful access controls, distribute malware, attack the service, probe infrastructure without authorization, automate abusive requests, or engage in unlawful activity.
You must not misrepresent Smart Unlock as a tool that defeats or recovers Windows credentials. Advertpreneur may restrict service access where reasonably necessary to protect users, infrastructure, legal compliance, or product integrity.
Availability, compatibility, and changes
Operation can depend on hardware, Windows and Android versions, permissions, firewalls, networks, background restrictions, service infrastructure, and third-party platforms. Features and connection methods shown in preview, setup, or interface screens may change and are not guaranteed until operationally released.
Updates may add, change, suspend, or remove functionality. Download availability and supported versions will be communicated through official Advertpreneur channels where practical.
Third-party services
Smart Unlock may depend on operating systems, app stores, hosting, connectivity, security, or other third-party services. Their terms and availability are controlled by their respective providers. Advertpreneur is not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, or unsupported configurations.
Disclaimers and limitation
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Smart Unlock is provided on an “as available” basis without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, universal compatibility, or successful access in every environment.
Advertpreneur is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business losses arising from unavailable networks, incorrect configuration, device loss, unauthorized use, unsupported systems, failure to maintain another sign-in method, or use contrary to these terms. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Termination and changes
You may stop using Smart Unlock at any time and should remove paired devices when appropriate. Advertpreneur may update these terms as the product or legal requirements change. Continued use after updated terms are published indicates acceptance where permitted by law.
